new lease on life

Literally and figuratively. I moved into a new home back in September, and now, this month, I’ve signed on for a new studio space here in Austin. I’m thrilled about what this space will bring. There’s something undeniably invigorating about fresh starts—they carry a kind of alchemy that activates inspiration in me.

Perhaps it’s all the moving I’ve done throughout my life, but I’ve developed a resilience when it comes to navigating the inconveniences and losses that change can bring. Instead, I’ve learned to lean into the promise it holds. Change cracks open the liminal space, making the intangible concrete, as we cross thresholds into the unknown. In these moments, all things feel possible.

With this new chapter, I’m envisioning a space not just for creative projects and production work, but also as a hub for gathering. I want to experiment with space—to play and dream, crafting something "by us, for us." This feels particularly vital in a time when so many of us are carrying grief and facing immense challenges. It’s essential, I think, to embrace the mediums, spaces, and people who remind us that another vision of life is alive and well.

This move is a commitment to that vision. It’s about attuning to possibilities, showing up, creating, and making magic—together. Change is both a spark and a steady hand, and I’m leaning into it fully. Here’s to what comes next.
